Cai Kjaer
CEO & CO-FOUNDER
After an initial career as a tax-lawyer, Cai's passion for people and collaboration took him into roles in Knowledge Management and collaboration and ended up prior to starting SWOOP delivering social network analysis projects around the world. He co-founded SWOOP with a vision to unlock invaluable collaboration insights to a much bigger audience through a self-serve collaboration analytics platform.

Dr Laurence Lock Lee
CHIEF SCIENTIST & CO-FOUNDER
Laurence is an experienced professional, with over 40 years’ experience as a researcher, technology leader, educator and management consultant. He is a leading practitioner in Social Network Analysis (SNA) for organisational change, having conducted more than 100 consulting assignments for clients around the world. At SWOOP he is responsible for the science that underpins the SWOOP dashboard measures. He holds a PhD on corporate social capital, from the University of Sydney.

Marianne Kjaer
COO & CO-FOUNDER
Marianne oversees all daily business operations in SWOOP with the key goal of seeing the company thrive. She manages and run the financial activities and deal with everything from negotiating customer contracts to managing the SWOOP Team. With Cai and Laurence she is a proud company co-founder and enjoys planning where SWOOP is heading. Marianne holds a Master of Political Science from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark.

Emily O'Brien
DIRECTOR, GLOBAL OPERATIONS & APAC
With a background in marketing and communication, Emily has experience in the community management space, previously implementing the internal communication strategy for a large company of 30,000+ field-based employees. Emily is enthusiastic about helping our customers unlock the full value of the collaboration insights available in SWOOP by facilitating training on leadership engagement, running effective groups and communication campaigns.

Gemma is passionate about enabling colleagues to collaborate, communicate and build connections. She has more than 15 years experience in internal communication channel management, internal digital transformation and content creation. Gemma has managed global intranet projects and seen great success with rolling out enterprise social networks including Yammer and Workplace by Meta.

Coco has an extensive background in Sales and Mortgage Lending which has given her the experience to find solutions to complex and diverse transactions. Understanding the complexities of connectivity and collaboration allows her to help organisations measure employee engagement with the metrics SWOOP provides. Based in Redmond, Washington, Coco enjoys the ability to cross-culturally communicate with our Spanish speaking customers.

As a leader in digital and channels communications, Edward uses his experience and passion to help organisations and teams communicate with impact, and foster a collaborative culture. Edward has led global and large-scale projects including the rolling out of global intranets and Viva Engage. He has led strategy and leadership communication campaigns, both externally as internally, and has been at the heart of transforming the internal communications approach to one that is proactive, based on themes and campaigns.

Francesca Guidi
MARKETING & CUSTOMER SUCCESS MANAGER (APAC)
Francesca has extensive experience as the community manager for one of the largest Yammer networks in APAC, handling more than 35,000 active users. Francesca loves collaboration and working in a team. She brings so much energy to her role at SWOOP. Francesca confesses to having an unhealthy obsession with Excel, outweighed only slightly by her love of engaging PowerPoint presentations and fun Viva Engage posts. Francesca is currently studying a Bachelor of Business (Design and Marketing) degree at the University of South Australia.

With an impressive career as a journalist covering news, politics, sport and finance for Australian Associated Press and other news organisations, Sharon joined SWOOP to lead our external communication and relationship activities. She has a special talent for bringing to life our customers’ stories and a passion to help customers become better, more effective collaborators.

Serena's mission is to connect people who have problems with people who can solve those problems. Serena is dedicated to growing the SWOOP brand awareness globally through creative, entertaining and, most importantly, meaningful experiences. She is always on the hunt for the next big trend and looking for opportunities to collaborate that can lead to breakthrough advances.

Purnima Kumari
UX/UI DESIGNER
Purnima is a seasoned UX/UI designer with more than seven years of experience in the design industry. She has spent the past two years working in the fintech space where her skills and perspective have been sharpened. Purnima cares about details, and considers them to be crucial in creating intuitive interfaces. Beyond the design canvas, Purnima is a budding artist and finds solace in painting, especially nature and sketching.
Our Board
SWOOP Analytics’ Board serves to guide the Board's actions as it fulfils its responsibilities to the company’s shareholders, employees, customers, and other stakeholders. In addition to the three co-founders Cai Kjaer, Laurence Lock Lee and Marianne Kjaer the following two independent non-executive directors are members of the board:
Marcus Dawe
(NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR)
Marcus is a serial tech entrepreneur and has had multiple successes with his ventures. Most notably eDIME Internet Agency which he founded and sold to Computer Sciences Corp (CSC) in 2000. At which time was the largest provider of Internet strategy and sites to Federal Government with 25 departments and agencies outsourced including Prime Minister, AEC, Defence, ASIO, ATSIC, DVA and many others. Marcus was co-founder of Revolution CD, a second-hand music and software store chain. His diversified business interests range from climate change related technology, e-health, complex data, advanced materials, cloud software, mentoring youth, electronic music and promoting the Global Village Canberra region & its high tech enterprises. He conducts these through various ventures & companies including not-for-profit entities. His board experience is balanced – sitting on government committees, business boards of startups, scientific & non-for profit public and private organisation boards & committees. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD).
Dr. Eileen Doyle
(NON-EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR)
Eileen has had an exceptional executive and non-executive career in large corporations that has spanned more than four decades. She had senior executive roles in the steel, building materials and infrastructure industries and is now a professional company director. Eileen is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and The Academy of Technological Sciences and Engineering. She is a Foundation Fellow of the Australian Association of Angel Investors. She is the past Chairman of Port Waratah Coal Services and Hunter Research Foundation and the past Deputy Chairman of the CSIRO. She is currently a Director of Santos, NextDC, DBI, Airservices Australia and the Kinetic Group. She has also had a long history of being a business angel and working with inventors and small businesses to introduce and grow their products.
